CtrlMovie is a novel interactive movie format. It gives filmmakers the tools to tell multi-optional stories in a truly cinematic way. The audience gets to make decisions on behalf of the main character and is thrilled to see the consequences of their choices unfold on screen seamlessly without a noticeable gap or edit.
The film never stops. No decision is still an action. The viewers are under the same time pressure as the protagonist, together as a group of people in theatres, or individually on an iPad.
«Late Shift» is the first feature-length production in the novel interactive movie format CtrlMovie. «Late Shift» is now available on the Apple App Store, on AppleTV and launches across selected cinemas in Spring 2016.

CtrlMovies can be presented in movie theatres for a collective audience-collaborative experience. Let the cinema audience decide! The audience’s smart devices, the CtrlMovie app and a local WiFi enable decisions based on majority votes.
For home entertainment, CtrlMovies can be distributed on AppleTV, which supports both single and multiplayer modes. Further PS4, Xbox One and Steam (PC and Mac) are supported distribution channels.
CtrlMovie is also available on iOS. To meet the mobile user’s consumption habits, your movie comes in chapter-like episodes.
Support for Android based devices will be added shortly.
Don’t forget: you can always create a conventional linear version of your CtrlMovie. Simply stick to one of the many possible storylines and you’re ready for all conventional distribution channels, be it cinema, TV, VoD or DVD.
