If your CtrlMovie account appears empty, you’ve likely signed in using a different method or email address than before, creating a new account by mistake.
If you sign in to the CtrlMovie app and don’t see any of your previous game progress, achievements, or linked content, it’s likely that you signed in with the wrong method or used a different email address than before.
The CtrlMovie app does not use passwords. Instead, it offers three sign-in methods:
- Email address (a one-time code is sent to your email)
- Apple Sign-in
- Google Sign-in
It’s important to always use the same method and, if signing in via email, the exact same email address you used previously. If you use a different sign-in method or email address, a new account will be created automatically. This new account won’t have any of your previous content, which can make it seem like your data was lost.
How to fix it
-
Check your sign-in method
Try to remember how you originally signed in. Was it with Apple, Google, or your email address? -
Try signing out and back in
Tap the account icon in the upper right corner of the main screen and choose “Sign out.” Then sign in again using the correct method. -
If using email, check your address
Make sure you're using the same email address you originally signed up with. Many users accidentally use a different one (e.g., personal vs. work email). -
Check other common emails
If you’re unsure, try signing out and logging in with another email address you may have used. -
