The company Kino Industries, which operates the interactive movie platform CtrlMovie, has secured a financing deal with BasePoint Capital to accelerate the expansion of its interactive theatrical and at-home entertainment technology. The funding will support growth capital for Kino Industries — including enhancements to their technology and financing of new feature-film development and production. With BasePoint’s backing, Kino plans to release multiple interactive films in 2026/2027, extending CtrlMovie to both theaters and home platforms.
