Register your theater now to be considered for the CtrlMovie EMS hardware rollout and be among the first to bring this new experience to your screens. The upcoming CtrlMovie slate kicks off with Slay Day early 2027, the first major interactive slasher film built for the CtrlMovie platform, with further titles to follow.
CtrlMovie transforms each screening into a unique, shared event: audiences collectively and instantaneously influence narrative outcomes using their smartphones. No two screenings are the same — and it drives repeat viewing.
Hypnosis Mic, the rap anime film powered by CtrlMovie, set box office records in Japan and validated the repeat-viewing model. Regal Cinemas was proud to bring it to U.S. audiences — and the response was incredible.
CtrlMovie integrates into existing exhibition infrastructure. The EMS hardware set installs alongside your current projection setup. No major retrofit required.
Interactive screenings create a reason to return. Branching narratives across the CtrlMovie slate mean audiences come back multiple times to explore different outcomes — driving long-term box office growth.

"There is something truly special about a theater full of people making collective decisions that shape a story in real time. This technology creates a level of engagement that simply can't be replicated at home."
