Between Friday and Sunday, we experienced intermittent service disruptions caused by a data center–level infrastructure issue affecting network traffic distribution.
The issue impacted the managed load balancing layer responsible for routing requests to our servers. While the majority of requests were successfully processed, a portion failed intermittently. Because most traffic continued to function normally, the issue was not immediately detected by our alerting system.
After identifying the root cause, we replaced the affected load balancing components and web server instances as a precautionary measure. We also updated our monitoring and alerting policies to ensure that any request-level failures trigger immediate notifications, even if overall traffic levels remain high.
We are further reviewing system resilience to reduce sensitivity to partial network failures and are validating system data to ensure completeness.
